Dense and rich in finesse with lots of fresh cassis fruit and plum, balsamic notes on the nose with Chianti terroir. Smooth, well-present tannins on the palate and a powerful, long finish.
Hand-harvested in mid-September / early October, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, maceration for approx. 20 days. Matured in barriques for 18 months, bottled in December.
Perfect companion to a main course with dark meat.
